PITTSBURGH – A unique college credit model was showcased today by the summer Learn & Earn program, sponsored by Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh, and Partner4Work. This model, funded by JP Morgan Chase, the City of Pittsburgh Mayor's Office, and other sponsors, combines an immersive college learning experience, including tutoring, and worksite placement.

The summer Learn & Earn program, sponsored by Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh, and Partner4Work, will showcase a unique college credit model. This model, funded by JP Morgan Chase, the City of Pittsburgh Mayor's Office, and other sponsors, combines an immersive college learning experience, including tutoring, and worksite placement.

Three to four credits are earned in studies in healthcare, tech, business/marketing, education, social justice, the arts, and community service. Students have access to up to five university professors. This has lead to a ninety-five percent pass rate. Showcased at Carlow on July 21 will be the college professor's teaching relationship with the high school students and student feedback on their experiences.

Congratulations Career Pipeline graduates! Career Pipeline, a state-funded, workforce development program for young adults with justice involvement, officially ends this month. Auberle's Employment Institute staff worked with 56 young adults on work readiness/soft skills, occupational training, and career track employment placement and retention.
