Partner4Work promotes Susie Puskar to Chief Operating Officer

PITTSBURGH - Partner4Work, the premiere workforce development organization serving Allegheny County and the City of Pittsburgh, proudly announces the promotion of Susie Puskar to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this role, Susie will play a pivotal role in advancing Partner4Work's mission to connect job seekers and employers, ensuring the efficient and equitable delivery of workforce development programs and services across the region. Her promotion was announced to the Partner4Work Board of Directors on March 29, 2024.

Susie Puskar has been an integral part of the Partner4Work team since 2013, demonstrating exceptional leadership, dedication, and vision. Throughout her tenure, she has consistently exhibited a passion for empowering individuals and strengthening communities through workforce development initiatives.

As Chief Operating Officer, Susie will oversee the organization's day-to-day operations, strategic initiatives, and partnerships, working closely with the CEO to drive innovation and foster collaboration. Her proven track record of success and deep understanding of the workforce landscape make her ideally suited for this role.

Susie's promotion comes at a critical time as Partner4Work redoubles its efforts to support job seekers, businesses, and communities in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her collaboration with the City of Pittsburgh and the U.S. Department of Labor on the White House Workforce Hub exemplifies her dedication to driving meaningful change and fostering inclusive economic opportunities. Susie’s leadership will be instrumental in guiding Partner4Work's strategic direction and ensuring the effective delivery of workforce development solutions tailored to meet the evolving needs of the region.

Susie earned a Master of Public Affairs from Indiana University’s School of Public and Environmental Affairs and holds a bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and French from Butler University. Before beginning her non-profit career, Susie volunteered with AmeriCorps, teaching English as a Second Language, mostly to beginning learners, through Allegheny Intermediate Unit. She helped many students learn basic English language skills needed to be ready for employment.
