Now accepting applications for Learn & Earn 2024

Partner4Work News Brief, Week of January 9, 2023

A partnership with UPMC Health Plan’s Neighborhood Center in the East End is aimed at boosting residents of eight neighborhoods, whether they are health plan members or not, with workforce development, food and health care services.

Learn & Earn exceeded its placement goal this summer, serving more than 1,300 young people. Since 2015, the program has served more than 11,500 young people who have earned more than $11.5 million in wages.

For the first time, Partner4Work received nearly $1 million in funding from the Department of Justice to expand our efforts in the re-entry space.

$8.6 million in funding was released for Title I adult, dislocated worker, WIOA and TANF youth services and for the one-stop operator.

Partner4Work opened the new Downtown CareerLink location in October. The new location is fresh, inviting, professional and welcoming to the individuals we serve.
