Forum on Connecting to the Public Workforce System Draws a Crowd

On December 4, representatives from Pittsburgh-area workforce development providers and community organizations attended a forum, at the August Wilson Center for African American Culture, about connecting to the public workforce development system. The first-of-its kind event, presented by Partner4Work and the Pittsburgh Black Elected Officials Coalition (PBEOC), addressed upcoming funding opportunities and how local organizations can join a network of workforce service providers united to develop a thriving workforce for the Pittsburgh region.

Partner4Work and PBEOC will present the next community forum on December 18, in McKeesport, for those who could not attend the first event.
