Youth Employment Programming

Learn & Earn gives young people ages 14 - 23 the opportunity to earn wages while they gain real-world work experience and explore career pathways.

The programs are supported by Allegheny County, the City of Pittsburgh, and generous philanthropic partners. 

Key Dates for 2026 Summer Learn & Earn

Application Period: March 2nd-June 5th, 2026 [APPLICATION NOW CLOSED] 

Please note: A complete, eligible application does not guarantee a placement. Interested participants are encouraged to apply early!

Youth Placements: April 1st, 2026 - July 2nd, 2026  [ALL PARTIPCAINTS HAVE BEEN PLACED]

Orientation: Determined By Provider Participation

Learn & Earn Program Begins: Tier 1 and 2: June 22nd, 2026 - August 7th, 2026 Tier 3: June 1st, 2026 - August 31, 2026
