Jeanne M. Career Development Center Success Story

Jeanne M, a returning CDC client, enrolled in the WIOA program for job search assistance in October, 2021. She worked diligently with her career consultant to update her resume and other marketing materials and took advantage of several CDC workshops to update her job search skills. Her career consultant helped her to focus on target companies and assisted her with job development and ongoing coaching throughout the job search process.  Her consultant also assisted her with job development, introducing her to several local employers. Jeanne fulfilled her goal in late December of 2021 and accepted a position as an Executive Assistant for a local nonprofit organization that supports special needs children.  Her daughter had once been a client at this organization and Jeanne was able to use her own experience there to convince them to hire her.
