Career Pipeline Program Graduation Success Story

Congratulations Career Pipeline graduates! Career Pipeline, a state-funded, workforce development program for young adults with justice involvement, officially ends this month. Auberle's Employment Institute staff worked with 56 young adults on work readiness/soft skills, occupational training, and career track employment placement and retention. 86% of this motivated group of young people attended training, with 83% of this cohort completing training. Auberle's dedicated staff leveraged their employer networks and assisted participants with mock interviews, job search, and resume writing, yielding a 66% employment placement rate. Young adults worked in the transportation & logistics, healthcare, construction, retail & hospitality, food service, and manufacturing industries. A big thank you goes out to Auberle's excellent employer partners at TMS International, UPMC, Giant Eagle, and Allegheny General Hospital. Auberle's in-house behavioral health and housing support, coupled with a vast range of supportive service referral partners, ensured that participants had the resources needed to engage in workforce development activities. We appreciate and recognize all of the hard work that the staff at Auberle put into developing and running this quality workforce development program for young adults with justice involvement! Employers can discuss job quality topics by contacting Bonny Yeager at byeager@partner4work.org.
